Online surveys are the modern-day questionnaires of long ago. Remember when long ago you might have received a survey in the mail, and the market research vendor included a crisp brand-new dollar bill? These were times before the Internet was fully mainstream. The market research company would include the fresh dollar bill to entice you to complete the survey and mail it back. The dollar was an incentive for you to complete the survey and a small thank you for your time.

Now, the majority of surveys are taken online, via the Internet. Instead of sending out surveys to a large list, including a small cash payment, and hoping people return completed surveys, market research companies have shifted to rewarding consumers for completing surveys online.

Now, market research companies pay you for each survey you complete in its entirety. Paid surveys are just as the name states: you will be paid for completing a survey.

Before you are directed into a live survey online, you will be asked basic demographic questions. This is normal. General information about yourself, such as gender, age, income, employment status, and other general demographic data. This helps create a basic profile of yourself with the survey provider.

Once the survey provider has a basic demographic profile about you, they can pre-qualify you into various paid surveys. Some surveys, like those on CreationsRewards, will let you know in advance of the time it will take to complete a survey if you qualify, and how many points you will earn once you have qualified for and completed the survey in full.

It's completely normal not to qualify for all surveys attempted. Sometimes, a paid survey offer will be looking only for certain age groups. Other times, they might want people who hold a specific job title. It's completely normal that once the demographic questions are answered, that you might not qualify.

But, do not get discouraged! New surveys and market research studies are always being added into the various survey providers on CreationsRewards. During the week is when most members on CreationsRewards qualify for and complete paid surveys. Weekends are fine too, but sometimes survey inventory is lower on a weekend versus a weekday.

Paid surveys are a great way to quickly accumulate points on CreationsRewards, and earn rewards faster. There are so many opportunities to qualify for and complete a survey. From Daily Surveys (surveys which you can complete only once per day), to Survey Portals (where many surveys are listed by time & point value -- you pick which ones you want to try!), there is a paid survey out there for every member.

And most importantly, never lie on a paid survey. For example, on one survey do not put that your income is $50,000, and then on another survey opportunity you put $100,000. Survey providers will see you are answering differently, and can either disqualify you, or even ban you from taking future surveys. We don't want this to happen to you! Make sure you are always providing honest, complete, and thoughtful responses to all surveys you participate in.

Another fun fact: When you qualify for a survey and begin taking it, make sure you follow it all the way through. The survey you qualified for was selected specifically for you! If you exit the survey early, you won't earn the points offered for taking the survey, and you might not be able to re-enter the survey. You would have to try qualifying for a new survey instead.

One final tip on paid surveys: Most, if not all, survey providers now ask quality control questions. This might be something such as a "trick question" like what color is the sky? Or, the survey might re-ask you randomly for your gender or income level. If you answer differently, the quality of your responses will be flagged, and this can result in being exited from the survey and possibly be banned from taking future paid surveys.
