If we make material changes to this privacy notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this privacy notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of the revised Policy means that you agree and accept to these changes. However, without your consent, we will not use previously collected Personal Information in a manner that is materially different than represented at the time that it was collected.

3. What Information Does The Website Collect, and When Do We Collect It?

a. When you visit our Website, we may collect two types of information about you: (1) information that can be used to identify you, such as your first and last name, email address, and home address ("Personal Information"), and (2) information related to your activities on the Website that is automatically collected as you interact with the Website ("Usage Information").

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, if you need to provide us Personal Information in connection with fulfilling a reward redemption, when you contact us, or if you voluntarily provide such information through the Website. If you send us a message, you will be sending to us your name, email address, and any other information, including Personal Information, you choose to include in that communication. You are under no obligation to provide Personal Information, but if you elect not to provide it, you may be unable to collect incentives or redeem rewards or use certain features of, or communicate with us via, the Website. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

  • names
  • email addresses
  • mailing addresses
  • passwords
  • contact preferences
  • phone numbers
  • All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

c. Information We Collect or Store As You Access and Use The Website. We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. Like many businesses, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies.

  • The information we collect includes:

Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity in the Services (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimes called "crash dumps"), and hardware settings).

Device Data. We collect device data such as information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the Services. Depending on the device used, this device data may include information such as your IP address (or proxy server), device and application identification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model, Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, operating system, and system configuration information. Location Data. We collect location data such as information about your device's location, which can be either precise or imprecise. How much information we collect depends on the type and settings of the device you use to access the Services. For example, we may use GPS and other technologies to collect geolocation data that tells us your current location (based on your IP address). You can opt out of allowing us to collect this information either by refusing access to the information or by disabling your Location setting on your device. However, if you choose to opt out, you may not be able to use certain aspects of the Services.

d. Tracking Technologies. We may use various developed methods and technologies to store or collect Usage Information ("Tracking Technologies"). Tracking Technologies may set, change, alter or modify settings or configurations on your Device. A few of the Tracking Technologies include the following (and subsequent technology and methods later developed):

  • (1) Cookies and Similar Technologies.
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

Cookies set by the Website are called "first party cookies". Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called "third party cookies". Third party cookies enable third party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website (e.g. like advertising, interactive content and analytics). The parties that set these third party cookies can recognize your computer both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites. We use first and third party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Website to operate, and we refer to these as "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies. Other cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Online Properties. Third parties serve cookies through our Website for advertising, analytics and other purposes. This is described in more detail below. The specific types of first and third party cookies served through our Website and the purposes they perform are described below (please note that the specific cookies served may vary depending on the specific Online Properties you visit):

Strictly necessary cookies: These cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with services available through our Website and to use some of its features, such as access to secure areas. Without these cookies, services on the Website cannot be provided.

Analytics and customization cookies: These cookies collect information that is used either in aggregate form to help us understand how our Website is being used, or how effective our marketing campaigns are, or to help us customize our Website for you. We use third party service providers to provide certain analytics services to use in connection with the operation of the Website. This includes Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google, Inc. (“Google”), to track Website usage and activity anonymously. Google Analytics uses cookies, and the information generated by such cookies about your use of the Website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Website, compiling reports on website activity and providing to us other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (cookies and IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under: In addition, further information about Google’s terms and conditions for Google Analytics can be found at:

Advertising cookies: These cookies are used to make advertising messages more relevant to you. They perform functions like preventing the same ad from continuously reappearing, ensuring that ads are properly displayed for advertisers, and in some cases selecting advertisements that are based on your interests.

Functionality cookies: These cookies are used to allow the Website to remember choices you make, such as the language or region you are located in, and provide enhanced and more personal features. These cookies can also be used to remember your preferences on the Website, such as font, text size, and other aspects of web pages that you can customize. They may also be used to allow an optional service to function. The information provided by these cookies may be anonymized, and these cookies cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.

    (2) You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies.
You can exercise your cookie rights by setting your cookie preferences in your Web Browser’s settings. Essential cookies cannot be rejected, as they are strictly necessary to provide you with services. If you block all cookies in your Web Browser, you may not be able to access our Website or its services.

In addition, most advertising networks offer you a way to opt out of targeted advertising. If you would like to find out more information, please visit or

    (3) Targeted Advertising: Third parties may serve cookies on your computer or mobile device to serve advertising through our Website. These companies may use information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services that you may be interested in. They may also employ technology that is used to measure the effectiveness of advertisements. This can be accomplished by them using cookies or web beacons to collect information about your visits to this and other sites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services of potential interest to you. The information collected through this process does not enable us or them to identify your name, contact details or other details that directly identify you unless you choose to provide these.

    (4) Tracking URLs. These are used to determine from which referring website the Website is accessed.

    (5) Web Beacons. Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website. We may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs"). These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable us to recognize when someone has visited our Website or opened an e-mail including them. This allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within a website to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to the website from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, and to measure the success of e-mail marketing campaigns. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will impair their functioning.

There may be other Tracking Technologies now, and later devised, and used by us in connection with the Website. Third parties may use Tracking Technologies with the Website. We may not control those Tracking Technologies and we are not responsible for them. However, you consent to potentially encountering third party Tracking Technologies in connection with use of the Website, and accept that our statements under this Policy do not apply to the Tracking Technologies or practices of such third parties.

4. Interactions with Third Party Sites; Third Party Ads.

The Website may include: (i) functionality that allows certain kinds of interactions between the Website and your account on a third party web site or application (including participation in Third Party Opportunities – as defined and discussed further in the "How Do We Process and Use the Information Collected?" section below); (ii) third party sites' interfaces or links on the Website to facilitate your sending a communication from the Website; and/or (iii) content served by advertisers or third party ad networks/exchanges. These third parties (including the Advertiser, as defined and discussed further in the "How Do We Process and Use the Information Collected?" section below) may gather and retain any information used or provided in any such communications or other activities, and may enable such third parties to market products or services to you, and to monitor which ads have been served to your browser and which webpages you were viewing when such ads were delivered. They may themselves set and access their own Tracking Technologies on your Device and track certain behavioral Usage Information regarding users of your Device via a Device Identifier. The information they collect may be associated with your Personal Information or they may collect information, including Personal Information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.

Third-party tracking technologies are not controlled by us, even if they use our technology to help store or collect data. Statements regarding our practices do not apply to the methods for collecting information used by these third-party advertisers and others or the use of the information that such third parties collect.

We do however work with third parties to make efforts to provide you with information on their practices and any available opportunity to exercise choice. The relevant third party's terms of service, privacy policy, permissions, notices and choices should be reviewed regarding their collection, storage and sharing practices. We make no representations regarding the policies or practices of third-party advertisers or advertising networks or exchanges or related third parties.

Further, while we may use a variety of companies to serve advertisements on the website, you may wish to visit, which provides information regarding this practice by Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") members, and your choices regarding having this information used by these companies, including the "opt-out" procedures of NAI members. Opting out of one or more NAI members only means that those NAI members no longer will be allowed under their own rules to deliver targeted content and/or ads to you, which will affect this and other sites, but does not mean you will no longer receive any targeted content and/or ads. Also, if your browsers are configured to reject cookies when you visit this opt-out page, or you subsequently erase your cookies, use a different device or change web browsers, your NAI opt-out may not, or may no longer, be effective. Additional information is available on the NAI's website accessible by the above link. You may also be able to opt-out of receiving third-party behavioral ads by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance ("DAA") website at Similar limitations may apply to the DAA opt-out. We are not responsible for effectiveness of or compliance with any third-parties' opt-out options.

In some exceptional cases, we may be legally permitted under applicable law to process your information without your consent, including, for example:

  • If collection is clearly in the interests of an individual and consent cannot be obtained in a timely way

  • If it is contained in a witness statement and the collection is necessary to assess, process, or settle an insurance claim
  • For identifying injured, ill, or deceased persons and communicating with next of kin
  • If we have reasonable grounds to believe an individual has been, is, or may be victim of financial abuse
  • If it is reasonable to expect collection and use with consent would compromise the availability or the accuracy of the information and the collection is reasonable for purposes related to investigating a breach of an agreement or a contravention of the laws of Canada or a province
  • If disclosure is required to comply with a subpoena, warrant, court order, or rules of the court relating to the production of records
  • If it was produced by an individual in the course of their employment, business, or profession and the collection is consistent with the purposes for which the information was produced
